Toilet training, finally, without the spiral.

A calm, evidence-based approach to toilet skill development for neurotypical and neurodivergent children, built around your child, your family, and the level of independence you’re working towards.

No generic readiness checklist. No generic three-day program. No forcing your child into a plan that doesn’t fit.

Instead, we look at what’s actually happening: your child’s current skills, communication, sensory needs, health history, routines, previous attempts, and what matters most to your family. Then we build a practical plan from there.

Whether you’re just getting started, have been stuck for months, or have a more complex toileting history, you don’t need another 47 browser tabs. You need a clear starting point, a plan that makes sense for your child, and someone experienced to help you adjust it when real life inevitably gets involved.

If any of this sounds familiar…

Stressed, overwhelmed, second-guessing every decision?

You don't need to know everything about toilet training. You need to know what's relevant for your child — and someone calm to guide the next small step.

Common

"Everyone says something different."

Grandparents, the daycare, the GP, three influencers. Renee translates the evidence into a single, clear plan.

Common

"My kid melts down on the toilet."

Specific protocols for fear, anxiety, sensory aversion, and gradual exposure (microshaping).

Common

"They'll do wees, never poos."

Stool withholding is its own beast. We track it properly and have a plan for it.

Why this works

Evidence-based. Step-by-step. Tailored.

Renee is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Specialist Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Developmental Educator. You work with her directly — in-person, by telehealth, or as a quick consult — not a generic course.

  • A toilet diary that flags red flags so you don’t have to spot them yourself.
  • A plan specific to your child’s age, diagnoses and care setting.
  • Covers the whole bathroom repertoire — fundamentals, nappy fading, satiation, microshaping, sitting posture, hand-washing.
  • Designed for neurotypical and neurodiverse kids (ASD, Down syndrome, CP and more).

Find your starting point

Answer a few questions about what’s happening now. I’ll use your answers to help identify what might be getting in the way and what to do next.

How it works

Three simple steps

Each step takes minutes, and the free ones tell you what's actually going on with your child before you commit to anything.

Step 1

Tell me what’s happening

Complete a short questionnaire + toilet diary.

Step 2

We’ll work out what matters

Renee reviews the information and identifies the most useful next step.

Step 3

Get a plan built around your child

Work together in-person, by telehealth or through consultation.

My mission

Independence opens doors.

Every child should be as independent in the bathroom as they can be. That isn't a small thing — it's the difference between being included or being excluded.

Questions parents actually ask

FAQ

Is this only for kids with disabilities?

No. It works for neurotypical kids too — the pre-screener just flags anything extra Renee should know. Same calm tone either way.

What if I'm not ready to start training yet?

Perfect — the pre-screener and diary tell you whether your child is ready, with no obligation to book anything yet.

How is this different from a $5 e-book or a Google search?

Tailoring. Generic advice gives every parent the same steps. Renee gives you the plan relevant to your child, and adjusts it as your diary shows what's actually happening.

What about my child's privacy?

We collect only what's needed (first name, month/year of birth, relevant disabilities). Full details on our privacy page.

The pre-screener is free, takes five minutes, and tells you what's actually going on with your child.
